# Boosting

> Boosting lets you support the chats you love. By boosting a group, you help it gain visibility, climb trending, and unlock additional features for everyone in the community. More boosts = bigger impact.

### Group Levels

Every chat group has 3 levels that unlock better features and visibility for the whole community.

Each boost costs \$10 and can come from anyone in the app. When you boost a group, you earn a **Booster badge** on your profile.

Boosting beyond Level 3 pushes the chat onto the **Trending** list in Explore. The more extra boosts, the higher it ranks and the longer it stays trending.

It's a community-driven way to reward active groups and help great projects get discovered.
